What's actually in the report?

Photos of your roof, a condition rating for each part (shingles, flashing, vents, gutters), our written estimate of how many winters it has left, and clear next steps. If work is needed, two written quotes come with it.

Why is it free? What's the catch?

No catch. Some roofs we inspect need work, and some of those homeowners hire us. That's the whole business model. The report is free because we've found that when people can see what we see, they make good decisions. We've been doing it this way since 1990.

What if my roof is fine?

Then we tell you it's fine, you keep the report as a dated record of your roof's condition, and we shake hands. A good report today is also useful later, for insurance or if you ever sell your home.

Is a metal roof safe to install over my old shingles?

Yes, in many cases a metal roof can be safely installed over existing shingles, saving you time and tear-off disposal costs. We will verify this during inspection.
